Viktor Yushchenko will honor the memory of communist repressions victims
On May 15, 2011 in the national park "Bykivnya graves" will be the memorial events to honor the communist repression victims. In wreath laying at the memorial and the grave will partcipate the President of Ukraine (2005-2010) Viktor Yushchenko, members of "Our Ukraine" and party activists.
This year's event was organized by the initiative of “Memorial" (Society) and the Public Institute of Historical Memory, which is an alternative to the Institute of National Remembrance, subordinated by the current government to the Communists.
Let us recall that the Remembrance Day for victims of political repressions is stated by the Decree of President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko from 2007.
So on Sunday, May 15, at 12.00 near the bed of honor will be wreaths laying and memorial service with the participation of the hierarchy of traditional Ukrainian churches.
From 13.00 to 14.00 will be Meeting - Requiem.
